engine swap help

Default engine swap help

well ive been at this for a bit now and i cant seem to figure it out. ive been trying to take my old engine out to drop in my new one but i just seem to pull it off the tranny. ive checked double checked i have taken out all the bolts and i just cant seem to get it to budge. does anyone know what else i can try to do?

A big hammer and a couple beers usually helps me when I cant figure stuff out...

JK ... I hope your able to get that resolved, I hate when I cant figure things out lol

Pull the clutch fork out.

Double check the top starter bolt.

Find the LOWER starter bolt. That will tell you whether or not you removed the upper starter bolt. If that's not it, then the next most popular mistake is the clutch fork.

if you have been able to get any separation (like 1/2 " or more) between them and then it's stuck, it's the clutch fork, which sucks because you pretty much have to re-mate them to get it loose.

wow thanks it must be the clutch fork cause i pulled off the starter so ill give it a try today
