EPS, Rack & Pinion?
I've had my EPS light coming off and on randomly, finally took the airbox out, cleaned the EPS torque sensor, reset the EPS (unplugged the battery), and the EPS light is on constantly now.
Could it be possible the rack & pinion needs to be replaced? Can I replace just the sensor? I am out of guesses but I'm afraid to take it to a dealer whom seem to know nothing about the EPS system on the S2000.
If anyone can share some insight it would be greatly appreciated.

The EPS has it's own trouble codes, just like the engine.
A scan will reveal the codes. Being much simpler that the engine, the code will tell most of the story about what you need to do.

My EPS has been on ever since I installed my last turbo setup I had to unbolt the steering rack to run the charge pipe between it and the frame cross member. It goes out as soon as I start driving and the steering is fine. Just a matter of getting it reset I suppose. I'll get around to that someday.
There are 2 connectors on the bottom of the EPS controller. They can be installed backwards. Connector "A" goes to the furthest forward 2 pin connector. "A" has GRN/RED wires.
Connector "C" goes in the rearward position. "C" has BLK and WHT/RD.
The EPS will not work with these 2 connectors reversed. You will need to clear the trouble codes after correcting the connector placement.
