Excess Oil
I noticed that my engine oil level was at the 3rd diamond and decided to top off the oil (Castrol Syntec 10w-30). I misjudged it and topped off a bit too much. I think maybe 1 quart too much.
The oil level is past the "H". At that oil level, I am not sure whether its safe to drive it. I was planning to get an oil change anyways and was going take it into the shop which is about 8 miles away. Would it be safe if i drove it easy at a low rev below 3k rpm?
The driver side of the dip stick appears to be a lot higher than the passenger side. Need your inputs. Thanks.

Loosen the oil filter and let the oil drain from the oil filter port.
Carefully dump the oil inside the oil filter without getting the entire filter oily, wipe the rubber seal clean, and install it back on.
Remember to place newspaper and a bucket at the bottom to catch the oil.
This may expel some of the excess oil inside the engine and bring it to a safe level. If not, run the car for 2 minutes in idle and repeat above process to remove the excess oil. Running the car for 2 minutes in idle with the engine overfilled is safe.
Remember, a little overfilling by 1/8" on the dipstick is fine. There is some clearance between the oil pan and the crank shaft to allow for a slight amount of safe overfilling.

If you truly put in a quart too much then one quart over is too much. 1/4 quart over would be safe but your level would be too high. Dump some oil like mentioned above or you risk aerating the oil if it really is 1 quart too high.
The different oil readings on the sides of the dipstick is a long known detail of this car, you should go by the lower reading on the dipstick as the accurate reading. I think it has to do with the engine being slanted, so the higher reading is less accurate.

You can also pump oil out the dipstick hole with plastic tubing.
