Exhaust header gasket gets rust

i just notice recently that the exhaust header gasket is completely rust. Is that normal?

That's not a gasket...that's the manifold itself. Yes that's normal.

+1, normal. So is the rust on your vtec solenoid (same on my California car). Bothers me, too, though
