If you wanna save $$ and go with something a little lighter, just have one fabricated from the axle back--Spugen. Like you said, most of the weight is from the mufflers

Here is mine and weighs around 40=/- lbs.

No, you cut from the axle where the piping splits. From there, its custom fabricated piping all the way to the welded on mufflers.

Is the piping the same size as stock? And how much did that exhaust cost?
