Default Exhaust Rusting Pics

Some pics I took and I noticed rust. Anyone ever experienced this? I believe the Spugen exhaust is titanium tip and the rest is stainless steel.

I ran my OEM exhaust last winter and I hardly see any rust.

on the first pic it looks like the tip is rusted too.

send an email to spugen, I think they will take care of it.

I thought all the spugen exhausts had aluminized steel piping (which will rust) and only the cans were ti or SS? In fact that was the main reason I didn't get a Spugen exhaust. If they used SS piping I would have been all over it.

BTW even SS will rust if you live somewhere where they salt the roads. I had a mugen twin loop on my old prelude and it developed a few small rust spots after about two years of driving in Nebraska winters.

Um, no.

What you've got there is mild steel tubing with some sprayed on paint. Rust-o-rama.

I dont see how you guys can expect or complain for warrenty repair...they use aluminized steel which does rust and it's been stated plenty of times before. Cant really ask a vendor to cover something that occurs naturally and the material of the product is known. You dont goto honda and tell them your mild steel piping exhaust is rusting...cause you know it's gonna rust.
