Default Exhaust tip rattle

This is a pretty simple question I have. I have the same kind of exhaust that was sold not to long ago in the group buy. The spugen single with Ti. tip. After about a month of driving the tip has started to rattle a lot. You can move it around almost a quarter inch.

What can I do to tighten this down? I was thinking maybe replacing the rivets, or whatever you call them, that hold the tip onto the exhaust. Or maybe even putting some kind of high temp putty in between. Suggestions?

Have you tried kicking the exhaust down a bit?

What do you mean "kick it down a little"?

this samething has happened to me with the same exhaust. have you by any chance noticed powder-like debris build up on the rear bumper and trunk/spoiler after a shortwhile of driving?

Yea a lot of it. Comes off pretty easily using some chemicals but I allways thought that the majority of it came from the fact that I'm cat less.

It's just the tip that's on the end of the muffler. It's held on by four rivets.

If I did replace the rivets do you think that the same thing would happen again?

goto a muffler shop and have them add another hanger...maybe that would solve the problem (???)

Hmmmm...I'm just really confused now. Just to get things straight, in the picture below I circled two of the four "rivets" that hold the tip onto the rest of the muffler. It is only the tip of the exhaust that rattles against the muffler because those "rivets" came loose.

So should I replace the "rivets", add more, use some epoxy type stuff, or any other ideas that you guys have would be great. I just don't want it to shake loose again.

And could someone tell me that they are "rivets" or are they something else?
