Default EZ ON fitment question

So someone slashed my top a while ago, insurance took care of it, and the top was replace with an EZ ON top. The top looks great when up, the fabric is such a nicer darker black than the vinyl, but Im having an issue when it folds down, if I remember correctly, with the oem top when folded down the glass would lie completely flat, but with the new top the glass seems to not fit flat down, and comes to rest leaning on the plastic behind the roll hoops. Should it not be like this? With the top up, it looks like everything has been put on perfectly, this is the only fitment issue I am having. Bad install job? In the picture, you can see that little strip of plastic, that is the very top of the glass, its a little hard to tell but instead of sitting on the bottom, its nudged against the plastic:

Mine has the same problem. The rear panel that the glass is in also sags much more than the OEM top in my case. I have a feeling that there is excess fabric between the rear mounting holes and the bottom of the window. Because of this there is slack, so the window does not get pulled back when the top is put down.

All of this is pure conjecture, though

I can fit it on, but it isn't easy along the back of the roll hoops. Something I have found to make it a little easier is to put the top down about 95%, then use the aforementioned slack between the window and the mounts to pull the glass up and toward the back of the car. At this point lower the roof the rest of the way. It doesn't make a huge difference, but it helps. I have a feeling that the additional fabric makes the glass miss the little rubber stoppers in the rear tray.

Hope the shop can sort it for you dude! Is it normal for the rear glass to rest on the 2 middle Tonneau buttons behind the seats when retracted? Or should it be lower than them and more flat? Would be extremely grateful if anyone could check this out for me before i rip my car to bits trying to fix it. Thanks
