Default F20 on the way

I know this is an H22, but my NA F20 (now 2.25L) is slowly, but surely making progress. The F20 head outflows the H22 head on this dyno sheet by a long shot.

I had been planning on buzzing it to 10K+ to reach my goal, but if we can replicate that torque curve, I'd be happy @ 9500 or even 9000. Note that this was a Mustang dyno WHP. Add 15% or so for a dynojet equivalent (ie, approx 334 whp and 234 lb-ft ).

Yes. It's been welded, heat treated, and ported. Larry says there is still room for improvement. They are working on a carbon fiber intake manifold as well like his B series, but time is limited and it is a backburner project.

There seems to be alot of skeptism about those numbers from other members, especially when they have a built endyn head and putting down 235 whp.

Anyway, Good luck with your project and hopefully it will put down numbers like this badass mofo h22

A head alone does not an engine make. If you have doubts, call the independent dyno facility. Tony1 on Honda-Tech was an Endyn skeptic and dyno'ed the car.

The car dyno'ed just previously to this one was a turbo H22 whose owner was pissed off after he saw these plots. BTW, the car put up bigger numbers, but this dyno plot was the conservative tune as it was delivered to the customer. Also, the S2 intake manifold was heavily modified. The CF one would have been better had it fit. A 3" exhaust would have helped also.

There is a guy from collective racing with a fully built H22:
bored out (89mm) and stroked (97mm)
2.44 liter 12:1 CR
and he putting down 185 torque.

So this h22 bored out (89mm) with stock crank
with 1 point higher CR is putting down 200 torque across the board?

I cant see where all this power is coming from.

Well, I guess I don't fully understand your point.

I am an ophthalmologist (eye surgeon). Other ophthalmologists perform phacoemulsification for cataracts and put in intraocular lenses as do I. By your example, everyone should see the same after the surgery, have the same recovery period, etc. Same equipment = same surgery. Why is that not true? Personally, I would be very selective on whom I would let operate on my eye. Why? Because there is a difference.

If it were as simple as f(CR, stroke) = HP/torque people would not be waiting months to get in the queue of their favorite engine builder. Let Buddy at the local Chevron station have a go at it. Me - I'm a little more selective and I think the results speak for themselves.

All I know is that I don't normally doubt people that sound like Yoda.

Awesome job and spectacular numbers.

Please keep us posted on your results.
