Let's say all my bearings are fine, and I just to replace them as a preventive measure, can somebody now please tell me what OEM part number should I order, taking in consideration all my markings and charts above ?

mic crank
mic bearing
plastic gauge

do some math and order the correct new bearing that fits your clearance requirements.

I can't see the paint, probablly because of the heat, but I can see the markings, let's say main bearing no 1: D9F top, D9F bottom. What OEM part numer should I order ?

Wait, I thought it was use plastigauge. Now its use a mic? Can we actually tell this guy what to do? It sounds like experienced people are giving piecemeal advice, instead of an informative reply.

It does no good to assume the op has done this before or he wouldn't be asking. Likewise its wrong to assume he is not capable just because he hasn't dome it before. You guys all did it the first time once too.

So maybe you are all trying to say, first mic everything carefully, then use those measurements to buy correct bearings, but then use plastigauge during assembly to be sure correct clearances. Is that what you are all saying?

So then how do you translate mic'ed values to bearing sizes?

The connecting rod bearings pictured are not oem. The numbers do not coincide with the Honda color coding system.

A lot of S2000 conn-rod bearings are green, if you are looking for a baseline. But there can be any combination of colors in one motor. Your motor could have come B-Y-Y-G. So just order green, whatever Honda part number that may be. Or you can enter the crank and block letters into the Honda color size chart to gauge the original color bearing.

But I believe you will find out that it may not spec correctly due to usage, and you will need to move along the color chart to adjust the clearance to proper.

His ignorance is making my head hurt!

YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE BEARINGS IN THIS ENGINE WITHOUT PLASTIGAUGE AND POTENTIALLY ADJUSTING WHAT BEARING YOU GO WITH. It does not matter the condition of the old ones, the tolerances are that tight enough that if you do you are likely to have bearing failure in the near future.
