I haven't completed this yet as I'm still working on the lower end build, but this is exactly what I'm doing. It should work fine.

What I did learn the hard way is you can't put F22c crank/rods/pistons into an f20c block. Most threads on this board describe the blocks as interchangeable, however there is a little more clearance at the bottom of the f22c cylinders.

I think swapping heads is straight forward bc's both use the same HG. The only difference is the cam profiles. As for the f22 internals on f20 block..It seems strange bc's people do 2.4 upgrades on f20 blocks but looking at my f22 engine block I do see some material removed under the cylinders done at factory.

Omar, I'm using complete f20c lower end in this build as well. I just got the lower end done this weekend, f22c head will be next weekend but I don't anticipate any problems. I do plan to put f20c cams in, but that is not relevant in this case.

Thunder, I fully expected it to work (of course, or I wouldn't have tried it). It appears the f22 rods are just a touch wider at the crank end. Combine that with the different stroke of the f22 crank and there is a tiny interference. I think there are aftermarket rods that would work fine. If i wanted i could have put my f20 crank in, but that would have yielded some god awful 7:1 compression ratio (I think some FI guys are doing that).
