yah you should almost be able to spin the motor by grabbing the crank pully and muscling it over.
i would devenitely check your cams...
not to sound like ajerk but make sure that the ex cam is on the pass side and the intake cam is on the drivers side...ive been an idiot and done that before...not a proud moment for me

also do you ahve the same timing gears on the right cams? tehy could have gotten swapped.
check the part numbers against what SLhondaparts.com has and make sure the right gear is on the right cam

the cams are correct, the cam gears have not been changed, only the central gear in front of the cam gears(the one that is powered directly by the timing chain). thanks again to everyone who took a look and spent some time to help me out!!!

Did you mark the crankshaft position before you took everything apart? I think that even if the timing marks are lined up, if the crankshaft is off then that could've done you in too.

the pully normally only goes on one way, and aslong as the piston is "UP" it doesnt matter if it was on the compression or exhaust stroke because the cams were removed and re-aligned (im assuming)
