I've done quiet a bit of general maintenance on my 03 S2k if preparation for its first track day.

• AP2 Valve Retainers
• New clutch
• Ballade heavy duty timing chain tensioner

I'm noticing a sound I believe I've heard before. It sounds like a soft ticking noise. After a valve adjustment I heard a sound like this but it was louder. Last valve adjustment was around 1,000 miles ago. I will of course will be doing another valve adjustment and checking the TCT but I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar sound and be something another than a lifter tick or TCT. I may just be paranoid but any advice would help Thank you!
