Im pretty sure you cant use (or not suppost to use) aftermarket pistons with the OEM sleeves. If you want aftermarket pistons, get sleeves. If your not going to resleeve whats the point of different pistons? The OEM piston material is a special alloy for use with fiber reinforced cylinder walls, other pistons will be damaged by the fiber reinforced walls. So either resleeve with the CP pistons, or get stock pistons.

Also there are two different sized pistons depending on the bore of the cylinders. If the stock piston skirt is not marked it will be a type "A" bore which is 87.010 to 87.020mm if the skirt is marked B it is a type "B" bore which is 87.000 to 87.010mm.

According to the manual my post is correct. There is a re-boring limit of 0.25mm which maybe the number you are thinking of?

You can use Woessner Pistons. They work with FRM cylinders and aren't expensive.

WOW 3500-4000 USD for that, i just priced it out and your looking at no more than $1500 USD here for that stuff. If you want OEM parts and dont want to pay your dealer prices have someone buy here in the US and ship to you. Your prices are insane.

i know the prices are enormous

1x oem piston 450 euro = 600 usd x4 = 2400 usd
1x oem rod 230 euro = 315 usd x4 = 1260 usd
1x oem ring 70 euro = 95 usd x4 = 380 usd

total = 4040 usd

5500 usd for the short block (pistons/rods/crank/block etc)

These cars (s2k) are very rare here i think around 20 or 25 in the country so that could be an answer to these prices ...

i realy dont want to pay that amount of money but it seems i have no other choice
the car has only 16k miles on it but the previous owner ran with low oil level for long period of tiome (i think)
and when the engine was cold it had a knock
the knock dissapeard when the engine wormed up
i took it apart and the wrist pins (bolt) on no4 an no3 pistons and rods where damaged - they have scratches and that caused the no4 piston to knock when cold
the mecanichs said i have to change all 4 rods and pins and no3 and no4 pistons
the block sufferd no damage

ill try and take some pictures of the pins and pistons

would there be any difficulty getting these parts shipped to you in Romania from the US? Someone here purchases the parts and FedEx's them to you? You would cut yours costs by more than half.
