Has anybody ran a F22C with an ap1 tranny?

cool.. i have got a good deal on an F22C, and my tranny is perfect at the moment.. and since i already have 4.57 in my AP1 tranny, i would like to keep it, just bolt on an AP2 motor.. any more info on this will be fantastic.. THANKS GUYS!

is this just a direct bolt on? what parts am i going to need? extra parts that I need to buy?

Direct bolt on, guaranteed.

I would use the AP1 flywheel, as it's lighter.

With the narrow powerband of the 2.2L, the AP1 trans is a nice mod as the gearing in 1-5 is a little taller.

im planning to use this set up as well but have a question:

does the ap1 tranny cause any problems since its not geared for the ap2 motor? immediate or later?
