Fading tail light recall
Hey kids!
Got my tail light fixed at my local Honda dealership along with the seat belt, and spark plug recall. And wow, did they do a terrible job!
This was about 2 months ago but the problem is coming back.
And also giving my experience with the place:
The guy working on my car, scratched the front bumper and took it out for half a mile. Broke many clips while taking out the seats and the plastic covers behind them and also broke most of the retainers holding the door trim in, broke my cigarette lighter cover and just threw it in my glove compartment. Shattered a tail light bulb and just left it in there. And after washing my car today, there seems to be a little condensation inside the tail light that was worked on. I complained and was told to come back. I decided to not bring it back and have to deal with other problems that might pop up. I fixed everything that the guy created, with the help of my dad, besides the big scratch on the front bumper ):
One thing that really got my dad and I really laughing was that the clips holding in soft top tray behind the glove compartment were completely broken off, and the extended part of the clip that goes inside of the hole was wrapped in masking tape to hold up the tray.
Just needed to vent
So back to the question. I'm guessing he only fixed one tail light, the passenger side. If I took it to the dealership for the recall and the guy only did one side. Will I still be able to take it back to fix the other side, driver side, since it is starting to fade. Should I take it back and ask for another guy or just take it to a different dealership?
ALSO the dealership was DCH Honda of Oxnard, and the guy who worked on my car was "Sid"
