FAO Of people With JDM cars/Tech peeps - Variances in suspension with UK car
Hi folks i am in the process of building my track/race car and have discovered that the NS rear control arm is bent.
On checking the Honda ESM it looks like the toe is adjusted with a concentric nut on the inside mounting. this ties in with whats on the NS rear of my car.
However on the OS there is a screw type adjuster on the control arm, similar to the adjuster on the front suspension.
So my question is this:
Do the JDm cars come with the screw type adjuster on all 4 wheels or has my car ended up with some kind of bodge job?
so if you have a jdm car and wouldn't mind having a look under the car it would be most appreciated.
Thanks

Are you saying that one of your rear toe control rods has the ability to adjust its length?
You got me a little confused with your nomenclature.
NS =? Near Side?
OS =? Other Side?
Screw type adjuster? Do you mean a jam nut adjustment?
Nuts are usually always concentric.
All the adjustment points for the S2K, except for the front toe, use two eccentric lobes attached to the mounting bolt for that point.
If the JDM rear control rods are indeed length adjustable then that is great news. And, its a wonder it hasn't been discovered before now.

NS = kerb side (on a right hand drive car)
I have since discovered that the screw ytpe adjuster must have been some kind of home brewed effort, I will be replacing them all with the standard lobe type.
The car was bought as an unfinished racign project so people were obviously messing about with the allignment
