Question Feels like I'm driving against resistance

2001 S2000

K&N intake
DC header
Apexi exhaust

Just had the radiator/fan shroud changed to mishimoto. Had a new Idle Air controller put in also. Now for some reason, the car likes to go into a mode where it feels like im driving in muck. There is heavy resistance, throttle doesnt reposnd like it did before, just an overall drag on the entire feel of the car. Any ideas?

Also, I am having the replacement clutch put in to get rid of the buzzing, could this be related?

I have also been told I need to replace a driveshaft or axle bearing. Could this be related?

Or is this just a heat-soak problem? I live in Redding CA - noone out here with good experience to really diagnose an s2000 out here, please help with any information you may have.

Thanks fellas, and ladies

J

Heat soak is the most common reason, also I have had wheel bearings and u/cv joints contribute to that sluggish feeling. If you havent done so already you may try pulling the battery cables off for a minute to re set the ecu and see how the car feels after this.

Heat stroke or shitty spark plugs, more likey heat-stroke. Floor it when it starts to bog and if it starts to pull hard then its heat-stroke. Its hard to relate when you have good air flow, with I/H/E

If he has heat stroke then he should probably stop driving and call 911.
