Default Fender Liner Drooping

Hey All,

My driver's side plastic fender liner appears to be drooping a little. It looks like one of the plastic snaps isn't fitting properly. Anyone know what part number this is? Also, how do I remove the old one and install the new one? Thanks!

Your car is 2005, dealer should fix it for you under warranty if your car is less than 36k miles.

Unfortunately, the car was in a minor accident and had some body work done around that area. So more than likely, the dealership will not replace it under warranty. Besides, I would rather do it myself

So with that said, can anyone help me out? Some pics would be mighty appreciated too

You need an inner fender liner clip and they sell them on HandAaccessories.

Thanks SIIK2NR - that's the piece I need! How do I remove the old one and install the new one? Does it just pop out or is there another way? Thanks!

No offense to H and A, but these clips are cheap and available at your local Honda dealer. Avoid the shipping costs. To remove them, you insert a small flat blade screwdriver into the little slot in the clip and it will pop open. To insert, just push tem in , and then push in the center protion to lock it in place. Ask the parts guy to show you this when you buy them. These clips are common to all Honda's and they seem to disappear at random.. I keep a few extras at home since I own five Honda's.

After I had a new fender installed the plastic lining on my car was also a little off. I just used a hair dryer and heated up the plastic, shaped it and let it cool down real quick. It's "cheek-to-cheek" with my fender now. FYI

You can tuck the fender liner on top of the metal fender tabs instead of using the clips.
