Default fender rolling vs shaving

Im having rubbing issues with my volk setup on the rear tires. I contacted a local shop and they said they could either roll OR shave (cut the rear fender lip out).

Which have you guys done/which would you recommend?

Rolling is the best cheap and easy way. No paint chipping when done right.

I'd like to see shaving in person. Never seen one up close. Fender rolling was easy, yet with a good eye you can tell it slighly changes the lines of the bumper.

Depends on how much clearance you need. Personally, I agree that rolling is easier and if done carefully on OEM panels is pretty safe. If you shave, but are still in danger of rubbing, the cut edge will cut into your tire. So if you just need a little room, rolling is probably the way to go.

Rolling is the way to go. if they are good, you can even pull the fenders out some for extra clearance. i've done quite a few with great results. not to sure about shaving. i agree it could cut your tire pretty bad if not enough clearance. good luck with your decision.

rolling it gives that smooth lip on the inside, and someone who is good wont ripple it and the fender will stay strong as it did before
