Default Finally! A spark plug socket I'm happy with.

I was sick and tired of the old rubber insert style sockets and the hassles associated with one thats less that perfect. I googled 'worlds best spark plug socket' and found the Locket Socket. I forked over the $30 for the original design plus hex and crossed my fingers that it lived up the the hype on their website. I used it for the first time yesterday and it definitely does. The plugs fit perfectly snug in the socket (porcelain untouched) and the socket was locked solid to my locking extension. If you are a tool junky that likes to have the best tool for the job your money is well spent here.

i got a magnetic spark plug socket from autozone. attached it to a cheap extension and taped it with electrical tape to prevent it from getting stuck down there.

So this locks onto the extention? The largest PITA I have with my craftsman set is it needs tape to prevent the plug socket from pulling away when I try to retract it after torquing a plug...

No, it's the extension that does the locking. I've got a Craftsman set and a set from Neiko (shown). I like the Neiko set best, I've had stuff pull off the Craftsman.
