First Oil Change
I own a 2008 S2000 and I just hit 45XX miles. I have a 15% oil life warning on my dash. Is it normal for the first change interval to come up so quickly? Also, my dash is displaying the code "A1". I looked in my manual and it says the maintenance main item A = replace engine oil and the maintenance sub item 1 = check tire inflation and condition. Thus, is there a problem with my tires as well? Is it normal for the code "A1" to show up when you get to 15% oil life? Thanks for the help!
There are goodies in the honda issued oil. These goodies help break in a new motor.
So if it says change the oil, change it. 15% left though gives you another 500ish miles to drive. 0% doesn't mean the car blows up.
