just wondering when my first oil change was due? i just have a little bit over 600 miles on my 04...and when can i change to synthetic oil?

 

first oil change - 7,500mi for break-in, then every 3 - 5,000 mi

synthetic - 12,000 - 20,000 mi

i waited all the way until 21,000 mi to go synthetic, and it felt GREAT

Some countries (Oz, Kuwait) require an oil change at 600 miles but that is not required in the states. As far as synthetic, according to Honda, you can change it to synthetic on your first scheduled oil change.
