Default fitting remote oil filter0 help needed pls

right im in the middle of fitting my remote kit... the sandwich part where the oil filter mounts to the block, I beleive is the cooler has a couple of hose feeds to it. I need to remove the cooler-so I was wondering whether one hose feed, feeds in and one out? or do they both feed oil in from different sides of block?
should the 1 feed in and one out, then I can just simply bypass the cooler and feed the one to the other.
not sure tho.
if any one could help me would be much appreciated!

sorry mate, think I misunderstood what you wrote...
are you saying the oil is water cooled? ie water flows into the sandwich plate/cooler, and out again and around the engine?
if so then I can simply joint up the two lines and scrap the cooler yeh?

Yes it is water cooled, coolant runs through those hoses.

you should connect a hose to the fitting on the right side of the block to the black pipe that runs across the timing cover.
