Fixed my rear end rattle
Well today I finally broke down and removed the drivers rear axle. I was getting this weird noise when driving or moving into passing lanes. I'd hit those dividers, you know those square or round lane markers. My friend and I tore the axle apart and checked then re-greased everything. No wear like the photo's I've seen on the site.
Just as we were getting ready to put the axle back in, my friend started shaking everything. Guess what we found? One of the rear A-arm bolts was loose! So loose that it took us four turns to get it tight. Soon as we got everything back together, took it for a ride and no more rattle! I wish we would have checked this before going the whole nine yards.
Just glad it's fixed!
