fluid maintainence

Default fluid maintainence

can i know how many quart the transmission need ( using MT90 redline) and how many quart the rear diff needs? ( any recommendation?)

Dif 1 quart, you'll use 9/10 of the bottle

Trans 2qts, you'll use about 1 and 3/4.

the only info i found was to use LE-607. i doubt i can get any locally .

what redline fluid will u guys use on the rear diff?

thanks for the help billman. ( wish u live nearer =))

i'll be sending in my car to the mech tmr so i need to buy the fluids in the morning

since people use mobil 75w90, you can use redline 75w90...but make sure you don't get the shockproof (or something like that)...just regular 75w90 gear oil.

billman recommends mobil 1 75w90, why don't you just get that if you can't find le607?

i only use about 7/10, maybe 8/10 for the diff.

should i be tilting the car to overfill a bit?

thanks guys..... i hope they sell those in wal-mart for the mobil1 75w90..why i should not get the shockproof one from redline btw?

my recollection tells me the shockproof is not good...

for redline, just regular 75w90 gear oil.

well since s2k has lsd , what additives is needed and what is recommended?

i read on amsoil 75w90 as well. what about that one?

no additives.

amsoil should be fine also.

look, just get mobil 1 75w90 since it comes recommended by billman, or le607.
