Default Flywheel bolt pattern

Hello all, I am currently working on a mash up engine swap project, and looking at using an s2000 trans behind a ford taurus SHO v6 engine. I was wondering if anybody would be able to tell me the flywheel bolt pattern, as I can't seem to find it anywhere in the depths on the internet. I'm looking for something along the lines of a how a wheel bolt pattern is categorized, so for the flywheel bolt pattern it would be 8x***

Thanks in advance.

The best information I can find is based on the following...

I used the dimensions of the flywheel washer (couldn't find flywheel dims, but the washer MUST match the flywheel for proper bolt fitment)..

Inside diameter = 38mm
Outside diameter = 88mm
Difference = 50mm

**This is an assumption based on standard engineering principles**
The holes "should" be centered in the cross section area of the washer, therefore...
Inside diameter + 1/2(Difference) = bolt center diameter.
38 + 25 = 63mm

Pattern "should" be 8x63mm

As a side note, this should apply to both AP1 and AP2 as the flywheel bolt pattern has remained the same to my knowledge.

Hope this helps!

I just measured my old flywheel, and I got ≈62.5 mm for the bolt center diameter...

I see an issue with your math. Diff between 38 and 88 is 50. It looks like you divided the differnce twice. So you only added 12.5 to the 38, when you should have added 25. If you add 25 to the 38, you get 63, which is real close to my measurement. It looks like your speculation was spot on, just a simple glitch in the math.

So I believe proper spec is 8 x 63mm

haha, yes, very sorry. Divided my divided number! oops. Apparently my brain isn't fully functional at 9:30am... Glad you saw where I was going. Thanks for the correction. I've updated my math to look slightly less retarded And also thank you for supplying an actual measurement as mine was just calculations based on specs on the internet... Glad to see they match!
