Since resurfacing the FW is not recommended by Honda there is no spec.

I'm well aware of what honda recommends and that there is no spec in the shop manual.

But if someone knows or has measured the nominal dimension of a new flywheel, that would be very helpful.

Its probably worth posting the answer here for other people.

I was also looking for this info and got some answers through PM's and by chance from the exedy australia web site.

Answer seems to be 0.065" to 0.068" or 1.7mm.

The flywheel I had resurfaced had holes through the flywheel so it was easy to knock them out.

Otherwise, you can get dowel pullers. They are basically a slide hammer with a collet chuck on the end.

Alternatively, clamp the dowel in a bench vice leaving a small space between the flywheel and jaws. Then get a big screwdriver and hammer it as a wedge between the flywheel and vice jaws. This last method can damage the dowels slightly so is normally a last resort.
