Default Fog Lights in place of DRL's

Hello

Has anyone ever installed small fog lights and hooked them up to the ignition to turn on with the vehicle.

I am looking to do this and comply with Canadian DRL Regulation.

Is there a kit on the market and readily available with the black louvers to cover the RH and LH small holes in the front bumper or do I just screw in a small fog light?

Thanks for your input

Ron

A lot of people retrofit JDM fogs from 99-00 Civic EKs.. they fit in those faux brake duct holes with some trimming.

honestly fog lights are useless on our cars. I had some that came with my car and took them out. The stock lights are good enough

There is a post (sorry I don't have the link right now; search for DRL) that gives a great writeup w/pictures on installing a relay and additional module from Hanmar that will cause the high beams to operate @ 60% without other lights turned on. Then when the headlights are turned on, everything works as before. I am doing this to my 02 and the parts will end up costing approxiamtely $55.00
