Default Forced Induction on MY2002 S2000s

Are there any other cars out there running superchargers (Vortech or Comptech) or turbos on MY 2002 S2000s?

I've got a Comptech SC on a MY2003 - I'm pretty sure it's identical to a 2002.

Last time I dynoed on a Dynopack 3000 chasis dyno, I got 273rwhp on 5.4 psi (malfunctioning boost controller) with the A/F ratio around 10.8-11.5 if I remember correctly. That was on CA 91 octane gas, and very little tuning of the vafc. I don't have any other mod except for a 3" exhaust. I'm hoping with new engine management and better tuning I would be able to achieve close to 290+rwhp @ 6psi on pump gas.

The reason for my original post was to determine if anybody was having any problems with 02s. I had heard that the 02 ECUs were different. I called Honda and they said the 2000, 2001 and 2002 ECUs are the same part number....so I would guess any problems I am having But are not due to differences in ECUs.

What problems are you having with your FI 2002, I am thinking about buying a Vortech today for my 2002, thinking that all the issuses have been sorted out. I would be really curious as to the reliability of the Vortech over extended period of time before I took the plunge today.

I am running a Comptech SC. My problems are most likely the result of some other mods to the car. You would have to ask the Vortech owners out there if they are having issues. If I had it do over again, I would have gone turbo (that is soley based on having driven both SC and turbo cars).

YS, is it because the turbos are getting more low end power compared to the superchargers high end gains.
