Default forced induction on the s2000

the s2000 has a high compression engine. i've read in the past that forced induction motors are either better or safer with low compression engines. does anyone have any feedback on this?

It all depends how much boost is in question, and how detonation resistant the fuel you are using is.

There are plenty of stock motor S2k's running 7.5 psi with a Supercharger, on pump gas.

Both of the superchargers available have pretty good reliability records with stock compression, but they are only at Max boost at max RPM.

If you are running a more boost along with higher cylinder pressures and temps, then it's time to start looking at lowering the compression ratio.
