Default Fried clutch?

Okay so yesterday it hella snowed where I am at. My 01 S2k has 10,000, not a type-o, anyway it is now my daily driver and I had no choice but to take it to work. I ended up behind a bunch of friggin automatic drivers going up a mild uphill road for like 45min, it was like 5 mph the whole way... start... stop...start...stop... anyway that was yesterday, today my clutch feels different. It may just be me looking for something wrong or different but it also feels like it is easier to go from gear to gear. I am really upset by this, my baby is/was mint. And hadn't even really been broken in drivetrain wise. Anway, what I want to know is if there is some sort of test or something that I can do that will tell me if I fried it, or the LSD or anything else... Thanks guys!

P.S.--I am a nood somethin fierce. I have had the car only 1 week. So if you could write in small words.. LOL

put it in 6th, floor it. if the rpms go up and your speed doesn't go up, then its toast.

^ you will have a better chance of understanding if theres a problem using the technique above if the road is uphill.

pull the e-brake, stick it in 5th, rev the engine to about 4500, let the clutch out. If it is still running you need a clutch.

This can't be the healthiest way to do this test now, can it?

Maybe it's just me but from what you've described here (at least as I can interpret it) you seem to be saying that your tranny is shifting more smoothly. I don't see anywhere you've described any evidence of the clutch slipping.

If all you're saying is that it's easier to go from gear to gear then what are you concerned about? That's how it's supposed to be.

Of course if you rode the clutch throughout the stop and go traffic it's possible you glazed the clutch disk. If that's the case a little bit of spirited driving (when appropriate) should rectify that.

Best way to tell, if it slips the clutch is already bad, not like you are going to make it worse.

How fast do you start in 6th? If it's at a very low speed, aren't you going to lug the engine by flooring?
