Default Front lower control arm/bushings

We are trying to take out the bolt on the bottom of the front strut that attaches it to the lca. The bushing is stuck to the bolt and we cannot get it to break loose, however it has broken loose from the lca and is spinning and "shredding" Can that bushing be replaced by itself or does the whole lca have to be replaced?

Also does anyone have any suggestions for getting the bushing to come loose from the bolt?

Thanks in advance

Ended up ordering the Mugen replacement bushings. . By any chance do you know if they can be replaced easily or is it something that requires a special tool/machine?

Thanks BTW for the heads up on the mugen bushings!

The bushings are pressed in you will need a ball joint press or a full size shop press, if you take the A-arms to Honda they should have no problem putting the new ones in. A C-clamp is a waste of time and you run thr risk of damaging the new ones

I'm having the exact same problem now. EXACTLY the same. How did it turn out for you? I ordered the Mugen bushing set as well... they were the front lower dampers right?

Btw, I know this is an old thread but maybe the OP is still around.

i used a big vice and a few huge sockets to replace mine.

i "cut" the rubber out, then put slits in the outer metal sleeve with a sawzall, then used a punch to knock the old stuff out.

big socket and vice to push the new stuff in.

a press would have been ideal, but i dont have one yet.
