Default Front subframe bent?

Hi guys,

A couple a months ago I was driving up the mountain and ran over a bump and only thought my exhaust pipe was dented. However I've finally had it put up on a hoist during my service and to my discovery the front subframe brace was bent as well. I have attached a picture to show the damage. I'm wondering if this would've had much of an impact on the subframe itself? from what I can see with the eyes it seems to be aligned however with the bend like that on the brace I'm worried it might have pulled the subframe inwards. I'm hoping it would only be the brace as I could just have that replaced.

If with the new, straight bar, the mounting holes do not line up, bolts won't easily fit through, subframe is bent.

If it all lines and bolts right in, and if aligment can still be adjusted within range, I would think you'd be OK.

I would expect Honda designed it so that bar would deflect before the subframe would for small hits like that.

The subframe steel is much thicker and more rigid than that little brace. I'm sure your fine.

See is a new cross brace will line up. I don't know how hard you bottomed out but it would take a lot to bend the subframe.

On the furthest away bolt you can see the metal deformation, as said just remove the brace and try to install a new one.. if it all aligns up perfectly then your subframe will most likely be good to go!
