Last week I hit a really bit pothole which totally misaligned my front right suspension. I brought the car to my mechanic who I have known for a long time trust very much. He told me that the misalignment was not totally correctable and he thinks I either bent the front right control arms or the subframe. He said that he could not tell wich was bent with the naked eye and that he would have to replace both of them. First of all, what comprises the subframe?? Second, what parts would be needed to change all of this and what would they cost, no labor. The reason I am asking is that I have allot of free time right now and was wondering if I should just make it a project and do it myself.
