guys,
had my s2k a few weeks now so im kind of new to all this.
Is it important to use high octane fuel i.e. Shell Optimax etc.
and if so whats the difference between this and regular unleaded feul.

Yes, it's important to use premium fuel. You can use regular gas, but the engine will retard timing - causing you to lose power (yes, the car has a knock sensor). It's best to use at least 91 octane. Around here I always use 93, and when it's cheap enough, 94 from Sunoco.

No need to tune anything, just drive.
Std pump fuel in the UK is 95RON and there area few true 97's, and some hyped up 98's.
Dependant on the engine characteristics of the burn, it might respond well to a higher octane, or it might not make any real difference as i've seen with many other production performance engines, however none, obviously, make the same bhp/ltr output.
And the F20C does have alot of machining marks in the Combustion chamber.
Try and see, its your choice.
