Fuel Line Location
Can anyone tell me which pipe it is please? The search is not working I don't think.
is the pipe the upsidedown d-shape one that is under the the throttle cable?
There's 2 upsidedown D-shaped pipes one on top of the the other, is it any of those?
the 2 upside down d-shaved rubber hoses under the throttle cable are for the air idle control. when you left off the gas pedal, the throttle plate is completely closed, but the engine still needs a little air to idle. so that valve opens to let the required air in so the engine can idle.
as for the fuel lines, they are both on the fuel rail. see the black plastic cover immediately to the right of the red valve cover. its held on by 2 black nuts. on the right of that is a yellow circle looking thing (the fuel damper) and a off-white looking one (fuel pressure regulator). the damper has a metal hose connected to the bottom of it, that is one of the lines, and the other is the black rubber hose connected to the bottom of the fuel pressure regulator. i can take pics if needed.
