Default Fuel pump won't prime

I'm having an issue with an 05 i picked up. Car was previously turbo (900whp) and a lot of the wiring was modified. So i replaced the main interior harness and the fender harness and battery harness to get all the wiring in the car back to oem. i do not have an engine in the car at the moment and no engine wiring harness either. I am swapping in an Ap1 engine so i swapped the ignition and ecu to an ap1 that i got from the same car. Hooked up the battery and the fuel pump will not prime.

i know this fuel pump is good as it came out of a running car i had. The turn signals and top motors work as they should, as well as the trunk light and brake light.

Just to rule out a few things i swapped the fuel pump fuse, twice, and still nothing. I also tried using the 05 ecu and ignition and still nothing. i swapped the main 40amp fuse in the under hood fuse box as well with no luck. i also tried hooking up the engne harness to the ecu and under hood fuse box but again no luck. swapped the PGMFI relay from my 00 and still nothing. i am getting no power to the fuel pump connector when i test it with my multimeter which leads me to believe it is a fuse or realy perhaps.

What am i missing? Thanks in advance

Check with a multimeter to make sure no break in the wiring

Power up the pump directly with a 9 volt battery to make sure it's working even though you know it's good but could be damaged

Knowing that it is good without a test is a guess

There is a fuse for the fuel pump and most cars should have a relay but I am not sure about the s.

Did you try to power up the fuel pump at the pump

I took the fuel pump out of another running s2k I have, so I know it's a good pump, it's not a guess

Here is a thought, if the fuel pump float is at the bottom, lowest level, will the pump even turn on? The is very little fuel in the tank. Anyone know this?

It will run but just burn out after a while

The float and pump have no relation as far as on and off

If there is no engine in the car, temporarily ground the wire that went on the back of the cylinder head to the body.

With the ignition key on, make sure the green immobilizer key light on the dash goes on, then off and does not continue to blink.
