fuel tank removal

Default fuel tank removal

hey everyone i just wanted to know if anyone has removed the gas tank ????? today i was driving my car around just putting miles on my motor and i hear a loud noise on the rear end and it sounded like i blow my diff but wen i pulled over it smelt like gas bad and it was pouring out alot .... and what happen was my drive shaft spacers bolts came off and or spacer came out and hit and gas tank and gashed it and i was wondering how to remove the fuel tank

Remove the abs sensors from the upper arm and remove them completely from the car,
Disconnect the brake soft lines from the brake hard lines
Remove the shock nuts from the shocks
Remove the prop shaft from the diff and transmission
Support the subframe and remove the 4 bolts holding it in place

Now I don't remember if the tank is held inlace but with the sub frame dropped the tank is removable..

There are other steps in the proceeds, but you get the idea.
