Default Full Rollcage with Hardtop Issues...

I learned something new yesturday. As I was leaving the racetrack yesturday, I went to bolt on my hardtop and noticed that the latches were completely off. So I did more searching and found out that the 2 screws on the pass. side were off and sitting there on the plastic. So I checked the other side. Same thing. So my conclusion is they came off over time. I have had my hardtop for over 2 years and never really checked. I think they may have come off on my drive up here when I was doing well over 100mph. Thats when I noticed a wind gust in the cabin. They may have well came off due to vibration of the cabin and in combination of high speeds, etc over time. So people with the full cage (which may be about a handful) and hardtop, make sure you check from time to time. I ended up yanking out the center plastic piece that goes around your cabin/dome light. I wont put it back on just for those reasons plus you cant really see it anyway due to the cage being right there. Just FYI..

Those front latch screws are supposed to be put on with Locktite. I'll bet they weren't done this way.
