Hi All,

I have a broken (snapped off flush) gas tank vent valve. Also, all my emissions equipment was removed when I purchased my s2000. I smelled fuel at a my last track day and found the issue. It appears that dropping the tank is the only way to properly replace this valve. If I replace this valve with the AP1 or AP2 part, will it leak fuel during spirited driving if no hose is attached to it? I am looking for the cheapest functional way to get this car not leaking fuel at a track day. Thank you for any responses.
