Gearbox AP1 vs AP2

Hi, does anyone know, if it will be possible to build 6th gear from an AP2 gearbox into a AP1 gearbox to reduce the RPMs and how much the difference will be?

The usual thing people would do is put the secondary shaft from the AP1 into the AP2 tranny. This will turn 1-4th gear into close to the AP1, but 5th and 6th will be longer resulting in lowering engine rpm.
