Default GM Synchromesh

I went to a Chevy dealer this weekend to get GM synchromesh for my tranny fluid change. The parts guy asked if I needed the synchromesh with or without additives. I have no idea!!!! So, I went to Honda and got the regular MTF, but, for future changes, anyone know which kind of GM Synchromesh to get?

Thanks!

You want the one that is "Friction Modified" that is the one with the additives. We don't need the additives but it works significantly better anyway.

You definitely want the one with Friction Modified. You can do a search on this site and you should be able to find the exact part #, so you know you'll be getting what you want.

You need only 2 quarts for S2000. Just return these 4 quarts and buy the correct one: "Friction Modified".
