Default Is it a good time for tranny fluid change?

Hi all,

I'm at 3000 mi on my MY05 and i hate the random grind/notchy feel on first-second and second-third (no matter what the operating temp is).

I'm thinking to change the transmission fluid to GM Synch FM as i've read tons of good things about it...

My only question is: is it too early to do this? Should i let my tranny break in some more? Thanks.

It's never too "early" to change the fluid, but I doubt this will resolve what most people consider as a normal thing.
You would be better advised to change the diff fluid now. That first batch of fluid gets really cruddy after break in.

If you live in an area that gets cold in winter, I suggest Mobil 1 synthetic GL-5 75W90. If you don't use the car in the cold, LE 607 has proven to work well.

Depends on how many good heat cycles you put in, but on average, about 1000 miles.
