Default Got my code the correct way....Thoughts?

Pulled my code with the tool from Advance Auto today...gave me the PO172 System Too Rich (Bank 1) code.

02 sensor? Anyone had any experience with this one or know specific fixes they've done?

Fuel metering DTC's can be difficult to diagnose when you can read the data list on a scan tool. Anything I can reccomend would be a guess, and you'd be most likely wasting $$$ changing parts.

I'd look for a good technician that can read OBDII data stream.

There are several areas to look at depending on if you have modded the cars fuel/intake system:

1) Fuel pressure-Too high or too low will throw this code
2) Bad Primary O2 sensor (HO2S)
Note: Normally this failure will also throw a P0135 first
3) Loose valve clearance
4) Bad fuel injectors (or wrong size)
5) EVAP canister purge valve.

If you or anyone else has messed with one of the noted areas I would check there first. If not then I would concur with Slow. If you take it to the dealer then you won't buy a bunch of "test parts" during your troubleshoot.
