Grinding/scraping noise
I've got a 2000 model S2000 thats developed a grinding/scaping/buzzing noise when accelerating and decerating in any gear and through the whole rev range. It disappears when the clutch is engaged.
The mechanic reckons its coming from the gearbox. He's drained and flushed it but the noise is still there.
I'm aware of the clutch buzz issue but his noise is present during accelerating not just decelerating and not just in the 3000-4000 rpm range.
Any ideas?
