Default gunk on rotor...

I resurfaced my front rotors for a second time, and I'm not sure if it was the machine or my rotors, but one side had a gouge in the middle, with a more indented surface after the gouge, and the other side's edge was roughed, and beveled inward. I drove on those rotors and brand new OEM pads for a few miles.

Anyways, I got some new rotors, and when I started driving, the pedal nearly hit the floor! I had to pump the brakes a few times. After I did that, I felt some strange pulsation, so when I checked the rotor, there were these wierd deposits near the edge of the rotor face, kind of like large boogers.

They're still on there, streaking across the entire rotor now, and getting flatter and flatter. Is this something I should worry about? I don't know where this gunk came from, but it seems to be stuck on the rotor face.

We just flushed our brake lines last weekend, so I am familiar with it a little. Check your bleed valve on the bad wheel/rotor. Maybe the cap was not replaced and/or the bleeder valve is not shug.

The lack of pedal also sounds like they either got some air in the lines, or the bleeder is leaking.

Worth a quick check.
