If you only have a knuckle, you will need more then you can carry (you need a press) . If you have a knuckle assembly, I.E. with the hub already installed, you will need the following
17MM for the castle nuts for the tie rod and ball joint
2 14MM for the 1/2 shaft nuts/bolts
a Torque Wrench that goes to 220 LBS 1/2 or 3/4
a 32MM socket that fit the above torque wrench
A ball joint separator
You really should have a shop manual too. That would have answered most of these questions.

I did check the workshop manual but it only states thread size.
Thanks

I hesitate to contradict Stratocaster, because he does indeed know what he's talking about, but as I remember it the large nut is a 36mm; a 1 7/16" will work instead of a 36mm if that's what you have available.
I'm speaking from memory of a repair done last summer.

36mm !! I have just removed the rear hubs from my car last night ... I am 100% sure that the size you are looking for is 36mm.
They are quite hard to loosen without an impact wrench. A tip would be to loosen it while the car is on the ground (wheel still on) and only then jack up the car, remove the wheel and the nut.

The 32 was an off the top of my head guess. I would yield to the 36mm. It is just not a tool I use too often. The others I use al the time. In fact as a rule the S2000 is even from 8mm-14mm and odd from 15mm-19mm. I always carry those in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 drive sockets and hand wrenches
