Default Harsh VTEC Crossover

I recently dyno'd and was a little low on power relative to other AP2s. The only mod I have is a K&N FIPK. I've tried different fuels but my VTEC crossover is always very noticeable. I also noticed my A/F was a little leaner than other near stock AP2s.

Thanks for any ideas,
Mike

tried to reset your ecu. the intake might be responsible for a bit leaner a/f. what were the other ap2s putting down?

I'd say I was down ~10rwhp from where I should have been, there was a strong AP2 that made ~206rwhp right before me. My crossover was distinct and people noticed it wasn't right.

Seems like your intake is hurting you.

My car makes a very loud 'pop' or 'click' when vtec pops in. I figure I have the new 1.9ghz while everyone is running on the old 5.8ghz. (joke)

Mine does make more noise and I don't know why. I put down 207hp. 78K

I really don't think the intake is it, I've had a harsh crossover with and without and an ECU reset in between

60k miles and I had a leakdown down when I recently bought the car and the motor is healthy. I'm thinking the leaner than other AP2s has something to do with it.

^yup. if you have access to a wideband, hook it up and see what it does. have you checked your plugs.

I was going to do some maintenance plugs, pcv, I did the tct, cleaned the filter.

The wideband read about a point lean on my car vs. others
