Wanted to now on a 2002 if you install a oem hardtop does is the defrost for the softtop still work ? thanks

 

Current is still supplied to the grid, but there is nothing for it to defrost when the soft top is folded under the HT.

 

An oem hardtop comes with an add'l harness. This harness provides a plug for the hartop defroster. When you plug in the top it locks out the softtop from raising and diverts power to the hardtop defroster. I have a 2002 w/oem hardtop.
